| | after a year or so of hiatus, I'm back on my blog site again.
I find my self the equivalent of a 24 hour plane ride away from home, in a country that is famed for its dreary weather, and being the coolest city on Earth, according to the English. I'm cold, its winter, I've never lived through a winter in my life, so its going to be all new to me
Ah yes i'm in London. forgot to mention.
So a few blogs back I wrote about my plans to go overseas and see the world. It was fun. I spent my life savings, and now trying to claw back some money by working 9-7, along with all the suits in this city. So far, not too bored yet, not as bored as when I was back at home, and blogging during working hours.
Its been 8 months being away from home. of which 5 months has been spent in London. I'm not ready to go home yet, and I dont feel a tiny bit homesick at all. But I do miss the following:
* Pho. I mean good Bankstown Pho.
* Kebabs. I mean good turkish kebabs from Auburn
* Mum's cooking
* my little brothers
* my dim witted German Shepherd Dog.
* my room in my parents place
* driving
* my mates. Maaate
* 1.5 hour commutes. Not!
* Golf ranges
* Quiet walks at night around Brisbane CBD
* Jogging along the shorelines
* my massive rear projection cinema with home theatre system which cost me a fortune
* Driving fast
* Taking the surfboard to the beach and just lying out in the water
* Kings Cross and the seedy nights out
* Befriending backpacker girls from Europe and doing international exchange of sorts
* Harry's de Wheels late at night
* Heat and sunshine
* Warm evenings where you could walk barefoot around the neighbourhood
* Clubbing in Sydney
* Clubbing in Brisbane, fortitude valley
Summer of 08' in London
